Adding to offspring conversation fun today, I'm
drying my 6 year old's hair when she notices my
T-shirt.
6yo: [That says] Mooney.
Me: Yep.
6yo: What's so great about Mooney?
Me: They're fast.
6yo: What else?
Me: They're fast.
6yo: What else?
Me: Uh... they're strong.
6yo: What else?
Me: (shrug)
6yo: Do they carry 200 people?
Me: (chuckle) No.
6yo: 100?
Me: No. Four.
6yo: Four? Oh, that's not good.
6yo: [That says] Mooney.
Me: Yep.

Conversations like this are why you want kids...

At 8:15am this morning, the following conversation occurred between me, my 6 year old, and my 4 year old:
6yo: In my dream last night the toy room was magical.
Me: Oh yeah?
6yo: Yeah, it made wishes come true.
Me: What'd you wish for?
6yo: I wished for snow...
Me: (chuckle) Snow... ok, what else?
6yo: ...And that Baby Anabel was alive [this is her favorite doll]
At this point, the 4 year old's opinion has not been made perfectly clear and she interjects it to remedy the injustice.
4yo: And I wished for a beautiful world...
Me: A beautiful world? What a great wish!
4yo: ... called China.
A beautiful world called China. I'll be smiling about that one all day.
