Lesson 13.1: My first Mx cancel

I finally get to fly with CFI1 again today! Uh, or not. When I get in the airplane, it starts right up but then the RPM gauge is all jacked up. It reads around 2000 rpm with just a tickle of throttle and the lowest it will go is 1500 rpm. And the other plane is booked.
That's two lessons in a row scrapped, and I've now done 4 preflights and gotten 1 flight for my trouble. Harrrruumph!
